Wow. i mean....wow. She actually thought she could play ?

That was beyond terrible. Beyond abysmal. Words dont describe it. I was actually cringing in fear at what the next bit would be

She should have done a Britney and mimed. Wouldve been much more pleasant to listen to

Great find though Dan!

ohhh k then...

we once played at a gig with a band of around 15. no tubas, euphs or troms. one comment was that 'colonel bogey had never sounded like that before'

If that old bloke heard that, i think he say we were awesome!!

i was waiting for the interesting bit with the quavers at the end, but they didnt do it!

and the bass solo

In all fairness, she did seem to be playing consistently in the wrong key. The vid looks fairly old, I imagine they used a cassette for the backing tape. As we all know, some tape decks play at different speeds to others. You'd think that would be something they'd check before sending the poor girl out there. Anyway, that could explain it.

Doesn't make it any easier to listen to though...

It seemed to be a real 80's style with everything so ....screechy

Plus it would helped if she tried to put the instrument in tune....was really out!

Personally before performing i would have checked to make sure that both versions were the same........but thats just me!

She probably spent more time worrying about the dance moves instead of the playing!

I think she was just pushing valves and playing. Kinda like I do when I play valved instruments

Bonus marks for the fantastic costume and awesome dance moves :P

It's wonderful how computers and the internet have expanded our horizons. Thank you to those who have passed on the YouTube details. Great entertainment.
