Australian Concert Bands

Hey Guys

I reckon the NSWBA should record the state titles - ALL GRADES!!!

I dont know about you, but i would love to get a dvd / cd of our band performing at state. hearing all the near misses, and stuff ups lolol

But seriously, its great to be able to listen to a cd, and say 'Thats our band!'

It is possible as this is what they do at the Melbourne School Bands Festival. Every band gets a CD from each of the adjudicators as well as a recording of the performance without comments. All Cd's are ready by the time the band leaves the venue so I can't see how this can't be done at band comps.

We got one from East Coast a couple of years ago.Proper CD

I mean, the rules say that you arent allowed to film them, but every time ive gone ive seen people filming them!!!

Ben I agree, maybe this year BNSW will make a recording with the adjudicators comments. My fingers are crossed.

That would be great! I know that they do that at East Coast.

We also got a recording from East Coast with out any adjudicator comments. Be great to have both!!!
