Tristar Trumpets - what are they like?

Postby bensimon on Tue Mar 11, 2008 6:56 am

Hey All

Ive been looking around for a C Trumpet. I dont wanna spend too much money as i wont be using it that often.

On Ebay i found a trumpet that is convertibile Bb to C (2 different tuning slides) for $124.99 US.

After quizzing the person, they are a music store in Canada that sell Tristar branded instruments.

This wont be to replace my Bach trumpet, but just to make it a bit easier when demonstrating rhythms from piano music

Ebay link

Am interested to hear what people think of these instruments

Thanks!
