Thats a good point. One of the nicest sounding instruments is a eupho (being played properly!).

A lot of the older british marches (eg, colonel bogey) have a great eupho counter medly

Another one that has a great on is one called The Young Amadeus. very easy, but very nice!

Agreed on both counts. Colonel Bogey is my all time favourite to play when I'm playing eupho as the part is so beautiful and interesting.

If i'd known that, I would have put it in the folders for this weekend at Jenolan Caves.
Bugler's Hol maybe on the cards though, oh and how could I forget National Emblem March as well.

You can sing along!

Bullsh!t, was all the band could play.

Bullsh!t, they played it night and day!

lol

Speaking of marches, i found a whole heap of german marches from WW2. Not bad tunes, but you would want to rename them before performing them. Eg, 1st SS Panzer Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler - basically its a regimental march for an SS Tank regiment.

My favourite march is Centillion. I am biased of course because it was written by my son.
My second favourite is Standard of St George.
Life wasn't meant to be easy, but you can have some fun along the way.

Hey Ben, Dont knock those German Marches, I have a few CD's with Hitler's actual bodyguard band playing marches, also marches (German) from World War One plus marches from the Luftwaffe. I love the sound they make. Did you know that the march Rommel had his band play when the Germans went off to try and beat the Allies in Tobruk in WW2 was a thing called Prusseins Gloria. They must have played it badly because the Allies beat them as history reveals.
