Hey guys, Just an update of whats been a very busy year for MYB.

With in the last 3 months the band went into two eisteddfods and in states and walked away with three wins.

Bathurst Eisteddfod - We scored 99/100! That was an amazing night for the kids after last year we went out there and came dead last! As far as we know we are the first band that was not from Bathurst to win the open section! That was just amazing!

NSW State Band Championships - This was a first for the band! We won Junior C Grade:) This was a good win but there was a very amazing young band that came second - Artamon Public School Band, This is one of the best school bands i have ever seen!

Hawkesbusy Eisteddfod - we did it! 3 wins in a row! We did it!

I just want to say a big thanks to our MD Garry Clark for all the work he has put in!

If anyone wants to see this band in action we are doing "A Holiday Celebration" Mountians Youth Band and Chours @ Joan Sutheland Performing Arts Center on the 15th of December.

With Garry Clark out the front you can't go wrong. Been friends with him for years. First met Garry when he was playing clarinet in the RAAF Band before he married and had three kids
