A Clever one

A man was strolling through the streets of Switzerland one day when he could hear the sound of a great choir singing in the distance. As he got closer to the singing he could also hear a tap tap tap noise coming from the same place. His curiosity got the better of him and he had to find out what this was all about. The singing and the tapping were coming from a great big church. As he entered the church he heard a beutiful choir singing and that tap tap tap noise. As he got closer he saw a choir singing, but they each had in there hands a stick and an apple to which they were beating the apple with the stick.
The man went up to them and asked what was the go with the stick and the apple. To which came the reply:

"We are the Morman Tap an Apple Choir"
Iwas told this joke a long time ago and it always gets a laugh.
I would like to put the challenge out to other forum members to come up with a short story joke.
Cheers,
Glen

A man was walking down the street near a psychiatric hospital when he heard voices singing slightly off key. Walking in he noticed that each person singing was holding a soft drink in one hand and fruit in the other.

"What was going on?" he politely inquired. He was informed that it was a rehearsal of The Moron Tab & Apple Choir.

Glen...I don't know "how old" yours was...but I heard my version years ago when I first joined the USN. I cannot claim it as my own....
