Australian Concert Bands

On Sunday 21st September, Unley Concert Band will be hosting the 2nd Concert Band Spring Contest at the Unley Town Hall, Unley at 2pm on their anniversary weekend.

Watch it as three concert bands fight it out in a friendly entertainment contest, including appearances from the Onkaparinga City and Holdfast Bay Concert Bands - the A and B grade state champions for 2008 respectively.

The adjudicator is Jim Dempsey and it looks to be another successful afternoon of excellent concert band music and camaraderie.

How many bands are in attendance?!

I believe there will be Holdfast Bay, Onkaparinga, Tea Tree Gully Ocncert, and Unley.

So...who's gonna win, eh?

What's the form? I guess Onkaparinga will be keen to show good form post-States, Holdfast will be staking a claim for a jump to A Grade, and Tea Tree Gully are fast gaining experience.

As hosts, what sort of form will Unley choose to show? Or do they just play well when interstate?
