When is Oregon going to die? Ok, it's a good piece, but I'm pretty sure it's showed up at every state and national championship in the last 10 years.

Most the publisher websites should either have a sample or say what cd you can find the recording on.

Recording of Open B Grade test 'Evocations' is hardly available anywhere. There is a military band recording around somewhere, apparently, but can't find it anywhere. Otherwise, brass versions are in abundance. Let me know if anyone has a copy or knows where to find it .

Cheers

Hey Nicole

I was looking for it myself, and found 4 -5 different movements for Evocations.

Are there different movements for this piece for the B Grade bands?!

Has anyone played this piece before?

Any info about the horn solo pieces?

I realise that sometimes composers put odd instruments, like harp, cello, bass and piano in their wind band pieces...but is it necessary for there to be string bass solos??
