Little things that make a band successful

Little things that make a band successful

Hey All

This is something that has been crossing my mind recently.

What are some of the little things that you do that keep your band running smoothly?

Some of the things we do are:

A weekly newsletter, which is sent out via email. This way even if you dont make rehearsal you are still kept in the loop. This has proved crucial to keeping band members involved. We also send this to our Band Assoc. reps, and also to members of other bands and people that support the band. Currently goes to over 100 people!!!

End of Year magazine. I have just finished a 10 page magazine called A Year in Review which is basically the band over the year. PM if you would like to see a copy!

What other things are done?!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

My daughter has just joined Thuringowa and their librarian has asked me (via a p.m. on this site) if I have any photos of her that I can send them. They are planning some comical moments in their Christmas Party and didn't want her to miss out on the fun. I wish I could be there but SA to Townsville for one night - not possible. Several photos will be on their way to them shortly. It sounds like they will have a good night socialising together.
Life wasn't meant to be easy, but you can have some fun along the way.
