Hey everyone,

I thought I would join the long list of introductions. My name is Lloyd. I have had the nickname of Cliffy since I was in primary school (hence my username!!).

As well as conducting South Pacific, I play trombone/eupho in Gunnedah Shire Band and am 1st trombone/assistant conductor with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra.

I also teach in a school during the day (when I'm not holidaying on the Sunshine Coast like I am at the moment).

I just wanted to say a big thankyou and congratulations to Ben for getting this Concert Band forum up and running. I think the Concert Bands in Australia need much more recognition than what they get at present. It's great to see how many people are already using this site and it's great to see some overseas members as well.

I also like that this forum has members from all differents grades of bands contrubuting. Lets keep it going and get Concert Bands the recognition they deserve.
