Reminds me of something i saw a year or so ago

Most musos would have seen this at one time or another....

Our MD was leading the band when all of a sudden on an upbeat the baton slipped out of his hand and went flying...i can still see him ducking for cover and the baton twirling around the air above his head!

You know what? The band didnt lose time...whats that telling you?!?! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I p[lay a lot of shows around town and you get to know the conductors and various musos very well. We usually decide on the job who we follow and its usually the drummer because a lot of conductors in musical societies have not got a clue
